Hi, I'm Bernard.
I started out in 1999, shooting wedding photography on film — back when everything was slower, and every frame mattered. Over the years, I've worked with more than 800 couples, helping them capture moments they can return to long after the day has passed.
That experience shaped how I see storytelling. It's not about perfect shots — it's about what's real, what's felt, and what stays with people.
In 2016, I went on to pursue a Master's in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in London. That was when I started looking at storytelling a little differently — not just capturing moments, but exploring ideas and perspectives through visual work.
These days, I still work across both photography and video, but the approach hasn't really changed. Keep it simple, stay present, and focus on what matters.
I've also been teaching since 2019, working with students and learners to help them build a strong foundation in visual storytelling. I'm currently a Leica Akademie Tutor with Leica Singapore, where I continue to share what I've learned along the way.

Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen.
