Do I need any design experience?
×None at all. The course covers graphic design fundamentals from scratch, so it's fully beginner-friendly, even if you've never designed anything before.
Is this different from the Design with Canva course?
×Yes. The beginner Canva course covers the essentials of the free version. This course goes deeper, into design theory, Canva Pro's advanced features, AI tools, branding, and multi-format design workflows. Think of it as the professional upgrade.
Is Canva Pro free?
×Canva offers a free trial of Canva Pro, which you can activate during the course. If you don't have access, our centres have laptops with Canva Pro available to borrow, just let us know in advance.
Will I learn AI design tools?
×Yes, a significant part of the course is dedicated to Canva's Magic Studio suite, including Magic Write, Magic Design, Magic Edit, and Text-to-Image.
Do I need to bring a laptop?
×We recommend it. A laptop (Windows or Mac) will give you the most comfortable experience. If you don't have one, let us know and we'll reserve one for you from our centre.
How long is the course?
×The workshop runs over 3 days (24 hours total). We offer both weekday and weekend intakes to suit your schedule.
