Common Questions

FAQs

Everything you need to know about SkillsFuture Funding and SkillsFuture Credit.

( 01 )

What's the difference between SkillsFuture Funding and SkillsFuture Credit?

+

SkillsFuture Funding is an SSG subsidy that cuts the course fee itself — 50% for most learners, up to 70% if you're a Singapore Citizen aged 40 and above or a mid-career switcher. SkillsFuture Credit is your personal learning wallet, which you then use to pay off what's left. Most learners use both, in that order.

( 02 )

How do I check my SkillsFuture Credit balance?

+

Log in to MySkillsFuture at myskillsfuture.gov.sg with your Singpass — your available balance is shown right on your dashboard. Every Singapore Citizen aged 25 and above starts with a base credit of S$500.

( 03 )

Can I use the subsidy and my credit on the same course?

+

Yes. The SSG subsidy is applied automatically at checkout, then you claim SkillsFuture Credit against the remaining balance, GST included. NTUC members can stack UTAP on top for further reimbursement.

( 04 )

Are all Hustle courses eligible?

+

Most of our courses are SSG-approved and SkillsFuture-eligible, and each course page lists its funding details. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll confirm eligibility before you enrol.

( 05 )

I'm a Permanent Resident — can I still get funding?

+

Yes for the subsidy, no for the credit. Permanent Residents get up to 50% off the course fee through SSG funding; SkillsFuture Credit is for Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above only.
